Job Vacancy

We are currently seeking suitably qualified Boilermakers to join our Integrated Work Management team at Pioneer Mill in the Burdekin Region.

It is essential that the person we are seeking has the relevant competencies, experience and qualifications (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade).

Our ideal candidates will have a proven high standard of performance, self-motivation, attendance and punctuality; in return, you'll work within a collaborative team fabricating equipment which we install in-house at our Mills, such as Pans & Evaporators, as well as the Locomotives we use to transport sugar cane.

You will also have the added benefit of being home every night! Relax and enjoy the abundance of wildlife and fishing located in the Burdekin Region. This position allows you to be located at the doorstep of adventure.

The ideal candidate should hold the following criteria:

• Current Confined Space certificate
• Valid Safe Working at Heights certificate
• Manual Driver's Licence

The following licences/qualifications are desirable criteria:

• Non Slew Crane
• Pressure welding
• Forklift
• Basic Riggers
• Dogger
• Elevated Work Platform
