We are currently looking for Personal Care Workers on a permanent part-time basis to join the team. If you are looking for job security but don't want full time, we have permanent shifts available where you can work up to 75 hrs per fortnight and get all the benefits of Holiday and Sick Leave as well as Salary Packaging which increases your take home pay.
About you: You will provide a range of high quality services to residents within the facility, including their individual physical, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs. As a Personal Care Worker, you will support a safe home-like environment, and encourage physical and social independence whilst safeguarding the dignity and privacy of the residents.
- Support residents with self-care including bathing and dressing
- Involvement with social and recreational activities
- Provide emotional, social and spiritual support to residents
- Be compassionate and personable
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the confidence & capacity to contribute to care plan documentation
- Committed to harmoniously working within a team environment
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or similar)
- National Police Clearance (current within 6 months)
- Full Covid Vaccination evidence
