The importance of this role
Located just 9km from Melbourne’s CBD, Arcadia Aged Care is a 102 bed Service situated next to beautiful parklands in Essendon, Victoria. We currently have opportunities for Personal Care Workers to join our team on a Permanent Part-time basis, working up to 75 hours per Fortnight.
As a highly motivated Personal Care Worker, you will support our much-loved residents by assisting with both high and low care needs. Our community has a variety of shifts available and you will be working a mixture of Morning, Afternoon and Evening Shifts including weekends. During your varied day you will:
Provide personal care and physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living;
Participate in the development and review of resident care plans; complete charting and report any observed changes to resident health to the Registered Nurse;
Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensure that all interaction with residents and their representatives are treated confidentially;
Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment;
Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
Remuneration for this role is $25.86 - $28.68 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Your experience and qualifications for this role should include:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Certificate III in Aged Care (Qualified Applicants);
Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including morning afternoons and nights across a 7-day week;
Current National Police and NDIS Check or the ability to obtain.
