About the role
We’re seeking friendly, compassionate and professional Personal Carers to join our Residential Services Team at Warrawee Community.
As a Personal Carer you will assist and support residents with various activities of daily living that contributes positively to their quality of life.
About you
To be successful in this role, you work well in a team environment and deliver the highest quality person-first care to each of our wonderful residents - always with a smile and a can-do approach. This is the resident’s home and as a Personal Carer you will make a positive impact with your compassionate and supportive approach. No previous experience required, just a passion for caring for our Warrawee residents!

positive, enthusiastic and upbeat
the ability to work as part of a team
professional whilst maintaining a fun sense of humour
have a minimum of Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent

This position is subject to satisfactory Police Check, Pre-employment medical and proof of annual influenzas vaccination and three COVID-19 vaccinations or authorised medical exemption (in accordance with Council’s COVID-19 Protective Behaviours Policy) prior to commencement. Casual Employment - Casuals work on an “as required” basis to help cover absences, peak periods and other short-term requirements at Glen Eira’s aged care facility, Warrawee Community. As a casual employee, you will be notified regarding any casual opportunities available. There is no guarantee of ongoing work with Council.
About Warrawee Community
Warrawee Community offers a home-like environment for our residents, comprising of six single storey houses surrounded by lush gardens and grounds. The community is made up of 90 beautifully appointed single rooms featuring a bedroom with ensuite. Warrawee provides peace of mind for its residents whatever care level they choose.
