About the role:

An exciting and unique opportunity presents itself for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our wonderful team at HPS, Gold Coast Private Hospital, Southport.

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join us on a permanent Part Time Basis working 29 hours per week working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

We are also interested to hear from candidates looking for full time roles, with the potential of an upcoming full time role becoming available.

Pharmacists with Community experience are highly encouraged to apply, as our roles are a great pathway to transition into hospital-based pharmacy! 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medication chart reviews, medication reconciliation and medication management plans
• Prepare medication profiles
• Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team in providing patient centred care and expert professional knowledge
• Dispense and supply medications in line with legal and professional requirements
• Clinical liaison with the relevant hospital wards and clinics
• Assist with business and process improvement.

About you:

• Current AHPRA Pharmacy Registration 
• Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider
• Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff
• A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
• The ability to organise complex tasks and solve problems
• Proven experience meeting key performance indicators and business objectives
• A patient-centric mindset, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
• A desire to learn and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry
• A vibrant personality and excellent Verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment
• Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders​​​​
