You will provide clinical pharmacy services to the inpatient cardiology unit bed card and ambulatory care cardiology clinics on a rostered basis. You will engage in cardiologist led ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other clinical leadership meetings including the monthly morbidity and mortality and heart failure advisory group meetings. A breadth rotation in either the Coronary Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit or Emergency Department will complement your training in addition to multiple opportunities to engage with and undertake line management responsibilities for staff in the team.
Professional development is supported through regular in-service education including journal club meetings and support for seminar/conference attendance is available. In addition, professional support is provided through team-based structures and mentoring programs.
Being part of a team that values leadership and excellence in healthcare, you will work in first class facilities that maximise care, compassion, individual choice and quality outcomes for all clients and patients.
