**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community pharmacy and enjoy providing personalized services to our patients. As our pharmacy expands, we will be focusing on a range of professional services including UTI prescribing, hormonal contraceptive prescribing, National Immunisation Program (NIP) services, travel and influenza vaccinations, and participating in the QLD expanded scope of practice pilot. Additionally, we provide Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) services, dispense Medicinal Cannabis, community Dose Administration Aids (DAAs), and will be adding Long Acting Buprenorphine (LAIB) injections to our offerings. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on professional services and primary care.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, offering personalized advice and support.
-Dispensing Medicinal Cannabis
- Participate in our expanded scope of practice initiatives, including UTI and hormonal contraceptive prescribing.
- Administer vaccinations, including travel and influenza, as part of our professional services.
- Deliver OTP services and manage community DAAs, ensuring patients receive consistent and reliable care.
- Implement and manage Long Acting Buprenorphine (LAIB) injections as part of our expanding service offerings.
- Work collaboratively with our team to support the pharmacy’s expansion and redesign, ensuring a seamless integration of new services.
- Stay updated with the latest healthcare practices and regulations to provide the best possible care to our community.
**Qualifications:**
- Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA.
-Vaccination Certificate
-Experience or interest in UTI and QLD hormonal contraceptive pilot prescribing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for community pharmacy and providing exceptional patient care.
- Experience or interest in providing OTP services and managing community DAAs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
