The role
Our facility at the Ravenhall Correctional Centre are looking for full-time & part-time Pharmacy Technicians to join the primary care team. Situated in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, Ravenhall offers an easy commute for candidates living in Melbourne and the surrounding areas. Working with this patient group is rewarding as the healthcare you provide can have a positive impact for a lifetime. You will the distribute and assist in the preparation and dispensing processes for prescribed medications, managing medication inventory and ordering supplies.
You would be required to work on a 7 day rotating roster where shifts are 7am-3.30pm and 11.30am-8pm.
Essential Requirements:
Certificate III pharmacy qualification or working towards (or prepared to work towards)
A minimum of one-year full time experience as a pharmacy technician
Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Intermediate to advanced PC skills
Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail in the workplace
Demonstrated reliability, honesty, trustworthiness and responsibility
Ability to work in a fast paced environment amongst a passionate team
