This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital a General Public Hospital committed to ensuring high quality, evidence-based, person-centred, safe and effective patient care. This position will be integral in supporting clinical pharmacy services to our patients and working as part of a multidisciplinary member of the health care team.

- Classification – Pharmacy Technician Grade 3
- Pharmacy technician required to provide patient focused quality pharmaceutical service at Werribee Mercy Hospital
- Inventory and procurement management: medication purchasing/distribution to pharmacy and ward imprest, dispensing and extemporaneous manufacturing.
- This position offers applicants the challenges and rewards of working in a small but dedicated team.
- Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (Equivalent, or eligible to be enrolled).
- Sound communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proficient IT skills (Prior Merlin software knowledge desirable).
Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing Western suburbs of Melbourne. Our services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care.
