PhysioNXT, a growing private physiotherapy practice in Ashburton, dedicated to reshaping the landscape of physical rehabilitation. Qualifications & experience
- Available for 38 working hours spread across Monday to Saturday with options for half days available for Full Time roles, 15-25 hours for Part Time roles.
- Comfortable and motivated to engage with clients presenting complex and multifaceted conditions, particularly those under the NDIS.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in physiotherapy and hold registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Bring at least two years of experience as a physiotherapist, preferably in neurological or musculoskeletal fields.
- Demonstrate outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exhibit a passion for continuous learning and education.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanour, dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to our diverse clientele.
- Experience with galt analysis and training preferred however training will be provided if limited.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a spectrum of conditions, encompassing stroke, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and various musculoskeletal injuries.
- Utilise cutting-edge technologies like the Lokomat machine and advanced interventions such as functional electrical stimulation to enhance client care.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, doctors, nurses, and NDIS coordinators to ensure holistic client care.
- Exercise autonomy to introduce innovative practices, including novel treatment approaches, pioneering technologies, and client engagement strategies, contributing to the clinic's evolution.
