The Tweed Hospital is pursuing a Physiotherapist Lvl 3 who will be providing high quality clinical services and leadership as an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team for patients/clients of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
The successful candidate for this Level 3 Acute Generalist physiotherapy position will demonstrate extensive knowledge and clinical experience across a broad variety of clinical areas including, but not limited to, medical, surgical, ICU and as a secondary contact clinician within the ED. The successful candidate will also be required to contribute to the physiotherapy department's acute weekend roster.
If you have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). To be appointed as a Level 3 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years' clinical experience and demonstrated experience of extensive specialist knowledge or a high level of broad generalist knowledge within the discipline as defined by the award definitions of a level 3 practitioner
- Demonstrated ability to apply professional judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks within the scope of practice of the position and the ability to utilise problem solving skills and a team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care
- Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
