Role Description
This is a casual role for a physiotherapist with a focus on in-home patient assessment and treatment. The role is located in Adelaide, SA, with flexibility. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with patients and their healthcare team to provide personalised treatment plans. The daily responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing patient treatment plans, providing patient education, and completing necessary documentation.
This role requires independent travel to client homes so a drivers license and reliable vehicle are necessary.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
Experience in patient assessment and developing individualised treatment plans
Ability to provide patient education and advocacy
Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and proper form
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
Previous experience with elderly patients and/or Home Care Package funding is a plus
Current police check and first aid qualifications are necessary
Valid AHPRA registration
Valid Professional Indemnity, Public & Products Liability insurance
Current APA membership preferred
Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
