About the Role:
Anglicare's Health Centre based at Castle Hill, is a an Allied Health and Therapy Centre offering a range of Services to our loved clients. Our team of Health Professionals offer support in the areas of Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Hydrotherapy. The team are committed to providing specialised clinical care and quality service for the residents and visitors of Anglicare Villages.
We are looking for a Physiotherapy Aide to join the team, who is passionate about enhancing the physical mobility and quality of life of our clients by following individual routines, reporting change and supporting the provision of physiotherapy.
The ideal candidate must be able to work three days per week and assist with additional shifts to cover leave as required. We are also looking for candidates that are confident in working in water and have or, are willing to obtain a certificate in Aquatics.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work closely in a team environment, sharing knowledge and communicating appropriately with team members to deliver best care;
*Assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, document accordingly, deferring to the physiotherapist should there be change to a person`s presentation;
*Assist with the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by ensuring treatment areas are prepared, and in some cases clients are delivered to treatment areas in preparation for their physiotherapy treatments;
*Ensures that the equipment is well maintained and available for use by planning and implementing maintenance routines.
*Assisting with administration, covering Reception as required, assisting with maintaining hydrotherapy pool
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
*Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent preferred
*Experience and passion in Physiotherapy Assistance
*A love for Aged Care and keenness to learn more about Allied Health at Anglicare.
