As an ideal candidate, you should possess excellent customer service skills and have a passion for design. But don’t worry if you don’t have prior experience - we believe in providing on-the-job training from our experienced long-term team members. After all, work should be as enjoyable as the finished products we create!

The Framing Factory has been proudly serving Perth’s Eastern Suburbs since 1989, and we are excited to add a full-time team member who can bring their own unique flair to our creative space. If you’re a local resident with a keen eye for design and a love for all things fun, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

      •     Provide exceptional customer service while having a blast assisting customers in designing and creating beautiful framing ideas.

      •     Embrace our computerized pricing and design system to create accurate quotes and orders, all while keeping the energy high and the smiles wide.

      •     Show off your skills with a matt cutter and other framing tools, all while maintaining a safe and enjoyable work environment.

      •     Let your creative spirit shine as you choose matting colours and frames that bring out the best in different styles of artwork and memorabilia.

      •     Keep the good vibes flowing by maintaining a clean and tidy workspace, because a fun workplace is a tidy workplace!

                     Accurately cutting  and joining frames using quality machinery and cutting of a wide range of glazing materials   

Qualifications:

      •     Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively while having a great time.

      •     Design skills and a creative mindset that can turn any task into a fun and exciting project.

      •     Familiarity with computer systems and a willingness to learn our pricing and design software, all while keeping the laughter rolling.

      •     Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team that knows how to have a good time.

      •     Attention to detail and the ability to read a tape measure, because even fun requires a little precision.
