ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking several experienced and safety conscious Pipe Fitters and Pipe Welders, for exciting opportunities to join our team on an SMP project at an Oil Refinery in Altona. Work is Monday to Saturday, at a competitive rate on a long term contract. As part of the Saunders International group, you will support our customer to deliver the projects safely, to standard, and on budget and schedule.
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualified (Australian recognised)
- Terminal or refinery experience highly desirable
- Have a good understanding of Engineering drawings
- Construction Industry Induction (white card or equivalent) mandatory
- Current Safe Work at Heights ticket valid within the last 3 years
- Current Confined Space Entry ticket valid within the last 3 years
- Right to Work in Australia (no sponsorship, sorry)
- Highest safety and quality standards
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test
