Job description:
Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. This newly constructed mine site is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.
Role Details:
Reporting to the Senior Geology Assistant, your main responsibility will be to provide quality open pit mine geology services and work collaboratively with the broader mining team to maximise return from the operation.

This role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract. The roster is 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
Interacting daily with the Geology Team to arrange daily work activities and ensure they are fully planned and coordinated;
Assist with daily grade control and production activities such as ore mark-ups, collecting RC & Aircore samples;
Complete all tasks associated with the daily and weekly sample dispatch services to the assay laboratory;
Assist with generating quality reports through the input of physicals on a regular basis;
Ensure work areas are kept clean, tidy and free of hazards.
About you:
Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable
Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Current manual C Class drivers' licence
Forklift certificate is desirable
Apply First Aid certificate is desirable
A basic level in Microsoft Office Applications
