We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our Cape Lambert operations to provide fixed plant planning and shutdown planning support to the maintenance execution teams.

The primary focus of the Electrical Maintenance Planner is to maintain electrical maintenance work plans, ensure statutory electrical tactics are kept up to date and process electrical maintenance notifications into work orders so that the maintenance execution team can perform work safely and in a timely manner. The planning of these maintenance activities will ensure the effective running of the plant to minimise down time and maximise production - making this a critical role to the success of the business.
Residential and FIFO options available on a 5:2/4:3 roster, reporting to the Senior Planner and your key accountabilities will be:
Review and Scope electrical notifications including primary and secondary maintenance work for Fixed Plant Maintenance
Identify and pursue opportunities to improve reliability
Review and Scope electrical maintenance activities for shutdown forecasts
Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental rules, regulations, procedures, and guidelines advising of non-compliance.
Identify and include CRM into work procedure where applicable
Take part in safety observations and CRM (Critical Risk Management) verifications and Vendor scopes
Support the Scheduling Team; provide recommendations on equipment maintenance strategies and continuous improvement opportunities
Assist Drawing Officer with updating electrical drawing information changes as required
What you’ll bring
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Relevant experience working in a fixed plant planning role essential
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft suite essential
Electrical trade qualification is preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical statutory requirements
A current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
Commitment to maintaining a high level of personal safety and hazard awareness
Tenacious and resilient, with a demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships within your team and key customer groups

Our port facilities consist of four shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.
