THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Project Controls – Asset Development & Construction, this role will be instrumental in setting up all the Asset Development and Construction project planning procedures as well as managing the enterprise planning environment & database, ensuring all our planners are following our planning standards as well as act as a mentor to our planning community. This role will also help with project schedule reviews and assist the project teams with schedule maintenance through regular reviews and audits.
Your key responsibilities will include:
-As a senior member of the project controls team, act as a mentor, coach and SME to all project control personnel, and drive a planning culture within the overall project teams.
-Lead the following planning activities:

-Create and maintain customised and scalable Asset Development Planning procedures within a highly complex environment, across competing priorities and multiteam dynamics.
-Develop and implement an integrated Master Schedule at a portfolio level that will support strategic business outcomes.
-Create and implement a comprehensive communications plan for the Program Integrated Master Schedule
-Coach and educate Project Managers regarding the functionality of P6 and other complex project management tools and processes.
-Undertake resource planning, including recruiting, hiring and training of all planning professionals.
-Ensure data integrity of all inputs and perform import/export of schedule of contractors’ P6 datasets. Investigate and resolve all data issues.
-Implement and facilitate regular Integrated Master Schedule reviews with Sub-Project Teams and Management to detect potential problems.
-Perform systems administration function, including maintaining the P6 network to ensure reliable connections and the fastest possible data transfer.

To be considered for this role you will have:
-A bachelor’s degree, in Engineering or Project and Construction Management. Equivalent project experience will be taken into consideration.
-A minimum of 10 years hand on project planning experience on major projects with integrated schedules
-A minimum of 5 years hands on Primavera Enterprise Environment experience
-Have successfully completed at least one Primavera Enterprise Implementation project
-Has completed Primavera P6 Introduction, Advanced, Resource Management, and Administration training courses
-Have worked as a Primavera Enterprise Administrator or Database Administrator
-Experience on large-scale oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects preferred (Renewables experience would be beneficial)
-Demonstrated ability to perform schedule analysis, risk analysis and ability to interpret data and prepare forecasts
-Demonstrable people leadership to drive a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and orally, with a wide range of personnel at all levels of the organisation internally and externally to the organisation, and the ability to interpret and explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
-Ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrate initiative and flexibility in approach to work.
-Ability to foster and support an inclusive team environment and demonstrable leadership of Origins Values and Behaviours.
