SalaryYou will be joining one of the fastest growing Oil & Gas companies in Australia. Contributing to Australia's sustainable energy future, they specialise in the exploration and production of natural gas and oil. Due to the growth they are experiencing domestically, they are looking for an experienced Plant Superintendent who is motivated to ensure the Operational success of a Gas Processing Plant.
The Position.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role is to ensure the production operations of the plant (including; onshore & offshore pipelines, wells & reservoirs) to meet and exceed set targets. As a Plant Superintendent you will be liaising with the Executive Leadership Team, Contractors, Local Council and Worksafe Victoria to name a few key working relationships. It is essential that you can provide Operational and Technical leadership as the Person in Charge of the plant. Health and Safety should be in mind with every action you take as a leader, ensuring all hazards are identified and the appropriate risk management process is implemented. You will also be inspiring a culture of continuous improvement, supporting or leading the successful implementation of improvement projects. It is also important to have the technical and leadership capability to assume the role of Operations Manager as required.
Requirements.
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical or Process Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years experience in oil & gas or process industry
- Experience working with Major Facility regulations
- Direct supervision or management experience of operating personnel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to relocate to a regional location (relocation assistance is provided)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
