As a Platform Owner you will be responsible for technical leadership and ownership of the Analytics and Data Wrangling platform roadmap. This role partners with Architects, Product Owners, and multi-disciplinary squads to drive the implementation of data solutions for the business while ensuring platform reliability and continuous improvement.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop& maintain technology roadmaps for Analytics and Data Wrangling tooling based on business requirements.
- Risk management and governance of SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS data assets and schedules.
- Vendor relationship and implementation partner management for SAS and any future state Analytics and Data Wrangling tooling.
- Collaboration with Data Practices to grow our maturity in use of key Analytics and Data Wrangling tooling.
- Assisting the wider SAS user community to remediate SAS and BASE data assets impacted by upstream system changes.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring:
- 8+ years working in Analytics, BI or Technology, with deep subject matter expertise in SAS
- Exposure to other data wrangling and analytics tools such as Tableau, Databricks, Ab-Initiio and Jupyter Notebook.
- Experience developing and maintaining platform/asset roadmaps ensuring alignment to broader architecture landscape.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to consult and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated collaborative leadership skills that encourage knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Ability to set clear achievable goals, priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to constructively challenge existing processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of ETL, Analytics and Business Intelligence processes and architectures.
- Knowledge of service, incident, and problem management processes e.g., ITIL, using tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
