We are looking for a passionate PLT student or law student, to undertake Work Experience placement at our boutique generalist law firm. We are based in the heart of the Cabramatta CBD, close to public transport, and amenities.   

: : About the Opportunity : :

You will be part of our dynamic and friendly team, gaining exposure to different areas of law, such as, but not limited to: Family Law, Criminal Law, Wills and Estate, Debt Recovery, and, Dispute Resolution.

This is a volunteer position, where you will have the opportunity to gain experience across different stages of the legal process.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas and tasks, such as:

-          Interviewing and obtaining instructions from clients;

-          Drafting legal documents, submissions, and correspondences;

-          Liaising with barristers, other parties, and external departments;

-          Performing research tasks, and collating evidence;

-          Undertaking general administrative tasks, and file management.

: : About the Candidate : :

-          PLT student,  law graduate or law student, close to completion;

-          Able to communicate in the Vietnamese language, due to our client base largely being

           Vietnamese-speaking;

-          Reliable and trustworthy;

-          Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;

-          Organised, with great attention to detail and time management skills;

-          Able to collaborate and work effectively with other staff, liaise with barristers, and other parties;

-          Good computer and technical skills;

-          Keen interest in generalist areas of law.
