• Offices located in Canberra and Adelaide
• 10 month initial contract with possible extension of 12 months
• Competitive rates at an APS6 level
• Baseline or ability to obtain

Our Federal Government client is seeking a Policy Officer who can commence in August
    
About the role:

• Identify and research policy issues
• Analyse policy options and devise potential solutions to critical problems
• Engage and collaborate with a range of policy stakeholders
• Draft and develop policies
• Support policy implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Develop policy capability in self and others

Ideally you will:

• Have the ability to manage potential competing deadlines
• Be experienced in policy development and implementation 
• Possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to think strategically
• Be a good team player with the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Possess good communication skills with high level attention to detail
