In this role, you'll:
Work within our Asset Scheduling and Delivery Coordination team within our Engineering and Maintenance branch of Sydney Trains focused on the planning and management of Train possessions.
This role will see you joining an established and collaborative team where most of your time will be spent in the delivery side of managing the night possessions.
You will also be involved in the planning stage for upcoming possessions, where you will put together the relevant key documents and working notes required to conduct safe possessions in the corridor that will extend from Strathfield up to Newcastle.

About you
Your qualifications will see you holding a current Protection Officer (PO) Class 4 qualification and ideally a safe working qualification as well.
Your recognised as being able to work well under pressure, capable of staying calm, proactive and flexible to support this type of role as well as being a clear communicator both written and verbally.
In addition to this, you are looking to enhance your work train movements knowledge where you will have variety and opportunity to be involved in diverse ways of dealing with complexity that will enable you to progress your career.
This is an Award RC3 Permanent Full-Time role, based at our Hornsby possession management centre, which will involve travel up and down the corridor from Newcastle to Strathfield. The role will have night shifts as well as flexibility for hybrid ways of working sometimes when on day shifts.
