What are they looking for? You ideally have:
Degree qualified with 3+ years of PR or journalism experience, including 2+ years experience with tech and business clients/media.
A strong understanding of the mainstream Australian media landscape, particularly in tech and business. International markets (especially USA/APAC) are also held in high regard, considering the global nature of our business.
Good rapport in the Australian media space. Especially interested in professionals with relationships in the B2B, finance & enterprise sectors. US/UK/NZ/ APAC contacts are also highly regarded.
Great management skills. They have a ‘no-jerks’ policy when it comes to clients and team members. You are a friendly and professional operator who can quickly build trust and be welcomed as part of the client’s team. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves, take on responsibility and get the job done (They’re not into micromanagement).
Duties:
You'll strategise, advise and execute big ideas with the portfolio of clients in the technology, business and venture space. The clients include some of the world's most impressive innovators, across 16 cities, including Melbourne, London, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Silicon Valley and Sydney.
Whether you're into new apps, crypto, SaaS, artificial intelligence, e-Commerce or more, you'll always have an interesting story to tell.
You'll collaborate with world-class communicators and a tight-knit team, to develop impactful campaigns, write and pitch engaging content and stories that deliver business-oriented outcomes for clients, and lead and guide fellow team members who support on your accounts.
Our client has built its business on strong relationships and a high-value network.
You’ll work alongside them to strengthen and grow our connections with media, key players and industry figures.
You will be a valued part of the business development strategy and will have the independence to pitch and prop dream clients and have the opportunity to attend key events and network
