Form of workMedicine on Second is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our busy clinic. We are a privately owned, family orientated medical practice with 12 GP's and an experienced group of nursing and administrative support staff.
Experience n General Practice would be preferred but full training available for the right applicant. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Tasks and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Triage of patients
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Wound care
- Immunisations
- ECG’s
- Spirometry
- Chronic Disease e.g. Health Assessments
- Pre employment Medicals
Essential Criteria:
- Must have current unconditional registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrate an outstanding work ethic, organisation and time management with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be available for shifts between 7.45am – 6.00pm and a rotating Saturday morning shift This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work within a fun and friendly team with a patient centred approach. We are offering 2 days per week initially. This is a casual position and the Nurses Award 2010 applies.
