We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Preservation Techniciansfor immediate and upcoming opportunities within Western Australia.
Our company's mission is to extend the lifetime of material values and we do this by specialised Preservation expertise, services and VpCI® technology.
Our Technicians are skilled Preservation specialists, who generally come from a engineering or trade background (mechanical or electrical trade) and are experienced working out in the field across equipment maintenance activities.
To be successful for this position, you'll need:
- a comprehensive understanding of:
- Mechanical and rotating such as; turbines, compressors, pumps, engines, generators, gearboxes etc.
- Electrical and Instrumentation equipment
- Piping, Static Equipment and Valves
- a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to carry out thorough assessments of heavy industrial equipment
- Knowledge of VCI/VpCI or Preservation products (preferred)
- Previous experience working in fabrication yards, construction projects and/ or maintenance facilities greater than 2+ years
- High Risk Work License - Forklift
- High Risk Work License - Dogging
- OHS White Card
- Driver's License
- Ability to travel (FIFO) - 2 week on, 1 week off rotation or work locally in Perth
- Full working rights within Australia
- Preferably, formal qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or Engineer is highly regarded
Desirable:
- Previous preservation product application experience
- Previous experience working with preservation of stored equipment, assets, and spares within supply chain / warehouse operations
