St Euphemia College is an independent co-educational PreK to Year12 school in the Greek Orthodox tradition. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate teacher to join our Primary School. This position is a Year 1 Maternity Leave position from Term 2 to the end of 2024. Fourth Year University students will be considered and we are willing to oversee final year internships and practicums as part of employment for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will:
Utilise evidence-based instructional strategies.
Place emphasis on student wellbeing and knowing each child.
Effectively manage the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers.
Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Greek Orthodox Christian values and beliefs.
Structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of your students.
Selection Criteria
Appropriate Education Teaching degree
Be registered, or have the ability to be registered, with NESA
High level communication and organisational skills
An understanding of, and commitment to, student wellbeing and engagement
