AWS is seeking a Principal Business Development Manager to jointly develop and execute Go-To-Market plans and highly scalable/repeatable processes for existing and new Amazon Connect products. This is an individual contributor role that will work closely with the Amazon Connect product and GTM team, defining, building and deploying effective and targeted programs to promote adoption of existing and new Amazon Connect products.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad and deep expertise in the world of business development, partnerships, and cloud contact centers. They will have demonstrated ability to think both tactically and strategically about both optimization and improvement of existing and new segments, business models, and selling motions to help further the success of joint AWS/Partner value propositions. . Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Defines, deploys, improves efficiency of and manages existing and new GTM motions for selling Amazon Connect products
  • Engages and supports product management to develop value proposition with new products, new segments, and new business models for Amazon Connect
  • Develop repeatable sales motions for new Amazon Connect products
  • Optimize and enhance existing processes and sales motions with partners
  • Serves as a SME in cloud contact center, Amazon Connect, and new related offerings
  • Establish ways to measure and track metrics related to adoption of new solutions, and to make improvements to the approach based on those measurements
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
