About the Role

 

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Principal HR Project Advisory to join the Organisational Transition and Workforce Modelling team, supporting the growing Major Projects WA portfolio of investments as a dedicated resource.

 

In this role you will assume the accountability for the planning and delivery of HR/ People strategies for Major Projects for both the WAIO and NiW Assets.  With a focus on Asset Integration, you will be an embedded and key member of the HR-Major Capital Projects study team providing guidance, advice and delivery of key study phase deliverables in conjunction with HR SMEs,along with other key stakeholders such as Operations Readiness and Asset Leadership teams.

 

With a focus on Operational Readiness, you will act as an integrator between the Major Projects investment teams responsible for the successful delivery of the investments and the Assets to ensure planned ramp up by the Operations from an HR and people perspective.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Assesses investment requirements from a people perspective to identify best practice strategies to ensure each investment is set up for success 
  • Works closely with the Asset HR teams to ensure robust people strategies are designed as aligned with the Asset people strategies 
  • Delivers the HR study phase deliverables as mandated by the Minerals Australia Projects Internal Standard – with focus on Operations phase deliverables
  • Works closely with HR sub functions and GBS to ensure they are aware and prepared for the impact of these investments

About You

 

  • Expertise across the full spectrum of HR activity, including performance, change management, organisational design, culture and foundational HR processes. 
  • Track record of leading effective and efficient project teams to deliver consistently high quality outcomes for their customers 
  • Experience working in HR organisations, ideally with experience working in an HR Operations, HR Business Partner or HR Consulting environment (or with a willingness to learn and apply new ways of working)
  • Experience in or knowledge of Project Management and Agile methodologies and/or experience on project studies preferable.
