As Principal Portfolio Officer you will:
- Provide expert portfolio-level advice and support to the Manager, Portfolio Management Office, Director, Portfolio and Change, program and project members and other key stakeholders.
- Support relevant portfolio governance framework(s) to enable effective decision making regarding organisational investments and priorities.
- Coordinate a range of portfolio functions supporting delivery of successful programs and projects.
- Establish and maintain a portfolio of work reporting framework linked to initiatives, schedules, plans, costs and regular highlight reports for approved projects.
- Work collaboratively across QSS and CHDE to ensure integration of the reporting framework with existing work practices, strategies, plans and methodologies.
- Coordinate the project assurance process, including conducting assurance profiling, gated assurance review coordination and review resource scheduling, analysis of the assurance reports.
- Coordinate the initial privacy impact assessment process, including conducting threshold privacy impact assessment workshops, liaising with CHDE Information Privacy Officer, gated assurance review coordination and reviewers resource scheduling, analysis of the assurance reports.
- Provide ad-hoc advice and support in accordance with Queensland Government project management methodologies and documentation, in alignment with QSS's strategic direction / roadmap objectives.
- Build supportive and productive relationships with internal (cross-Government) and external stakeholders, including private sector service providers.
