Principal Procurement Specialist

Reporting to the Manager Procurement, the Principal Procurement Specialist drives value outcomes within high level, complex procurement initiatives within the Procurement and Supply Unit of Metro South Hospital and Health Service.

About the Role

• Provide high quality procurement and contract management advice and services including: procurement planning activities; sourcing documentation development, release, and evaluation processes; and contract negotiation, formation, management and administration activities.
• Deliver value through identification, development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor, and contract management initiatives. Have focus on outcomes in value driven activities, constantly ensuring efforts translate to measurable returns to MSH.
• Contribute to the management of all higher risk initiatives and activities within the Medical Aids & Subsidy Scheme, MSH.
