About The Employer:
A state-wide Community Legal Practice with offices across regional NSW. A not-for-profit organisation that provides free legal services, including court and tribunal representation, welfare support, advocacy and community education to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims of family violence and/or sexual assault.
Your Background May Incl:
Offering a good understanding in the areas of Family Law, Child
Protection, Domestic & Family Violence and victims assistance applications.
Displaying a cultural appreciation/understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Experience with Court & Tribunal appearances, incl-case files.
Genuinely wanting to make a difference to the lives of Indigenous families, children, victims the vulnerable & disadvantaged
Essential Requirements
- NSW Practicing Certificate (unrestricted), or eligibility to acquire for NSW
- Current open driver’s license
- Holder of a Working with Children Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one.
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Clearance check.
