The role:
The principal Technical Consultant will manage the planning of various types of testing in line with the Test Strategy, including the provision of test environment, technical support, and documentation reviews.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the development of testing products, documentation, defect management, and test reporting.
- Responsible for the integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinates the execution of these activities for a project.
- Manage systems testing design and improvement methodologies to ensure systems can be migrated from a development environment through to implementation within quality assurance guidelines.
- Implement quality testing methods to align with the Queensland Health ICT Testing Governance Policy framework which encompasses strategies, policies, processes, templates, tools and standards.
Are you right for this role?
You will have demonstrated experience in all phases of testing including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and auditability in a large ICT project environment.
You will also have proven experience implementing quality testing methods and frameworks as well as providing expert knowledge in relevant testing techniques, methods and tools.
Experience with Test Automation toolsets and methodologies is desirable. Importantly, you have the proven ability to initiate strong working relationships and lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team.
Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with experience in the assessment of technical requirements is critical to your success in this role.
