Set against the backdrop of the Barangaroo skyline is one of Sydney’s most luxurious venues – Crown. Boasting 14 luxurious restaurants and bars, you will be working closely with the Private Events Senior Executive in planning sole use and private events in these stunning locations - premium and bespoke!
No two days will be the same with Crown being the perfect location to spearhead and grow your events career!
To thrive in the role, you will be dedicated to creating memorable moments and experiences, have a passion for events, exceptional grooming standards for a 5-star environment, excellent verbal, and written communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and clientele of all levels. You will have an eagerness to grow as a professional and the desire to be a pivotal part of the success and future growth of the Private Events department.
This role is a Tuesday – Saturday position with the requirement for flexibility depending on the event calendar. You will be based at Barangaroo and it is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Some of the skills you will bring:
Prior experience within an event planning environment
Ability to work proactively and autonomously
A passion for events
High level written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Exposure to relevant systems (Delphi, FCD, Opera, etc) ideal.
Experience within events a hotel or hospitality environment advantageous
