AddressDue to continued growth, Liebherr-Adelaide is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified Process Engineer. Reporting to the Manager, Fabrication, this role will see you be responsible for supporting the delivery of ReManufacture components through effective industrial process and technical support, collaborating with the Planning and Scheduling teams to advise on process and procedural applications, while optimising material flow and administrative processes to enhance efficiency and quality. This includes ensuring adherence to schedule as per Liebherr Norm requirements for manufacturing and technical liaison with all facets of the business where fabrication components are in use.
Responsibilities include:
•Design, review, implementation and coordination best practice of internal Planning and Scheduling Processes and Procedures to produce high quality components
•Develop process improvements within Planning and Scheduling resulting in effective utilisation of resources and materials through production facility, whilst evaluating current production activities and make recommendations for process improvements
•Define and model capacity and capability within production environment, identify, coordination and implementation of process and procedural improvements. Escalation of blocking points with stakeholders
•Conduct internal compliance audits and provide constructive feedback
- Alert the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of products and services
- Initiate recommendations for improvement of the organisation's policies and processes
Skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrialisation or related discipline essential
• Demonstrated 3 years’ minimum experience as in an Engineer role
• Post Graduate qualifications in relevant discipline highly desirable
• Previous experience or exposure within manufacturing workshops
• Welding/Fabrication experience
• Lean/Six Sigma qualifications highly desirable
• Current drivers licence
