Grange ResourcesLimited is Australia’s most experienced magnetite producer from its iron ore mining and pellet production business located in North-West Tasmania.
The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine is a long-life mining asset where ore is mined and processed before it is transported by pipeline to the pellet plant and ship loading facility at Port Latta.
We are looking for a Process Operations Shift Supervisor to lead our production team at our Concentrator operations at Savage River.
Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of all aspects of concentrator operations.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- A current driver’s licence
- Self-organised and able to complete, multiple, routine, and assigned tasks efficiently and on time while maintaining effective work behaviour in the face of pressure
- Able to demonstrate an ability to motivate and lead by example while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards
- As interaction with process crews, contractors and management is required, you must be able to demonstrate understanding and respect for different perspectives, values and work styles
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The following capabilities will be highly regarded:
- Broad industry knowledge
- Previous mineral processing experience
- Staff training and supervision experience
