About the role
Based at the hangar, this additional position has been created to support business growth and ensure effective management of stock and parts in line with routine maintenance and repairs. The roster will be 38 hours a week
Key Duties
• Respond to requisitions for the Skytrans fleet as required, including monitoring the Procurement email address and communicating with other departments on upcoming projects
• Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)
• Must hold a valid driver`s licence
• Update, maintain and monitor actions through the company IT system
• Build effective relationships with key suppliers within Australia and abroad
• Expediting orders to meet work requirements, including following up and outstanding orders
• Ensure stock levels are sufficient and correct inventory information reported at all times
• Attend daily morning meetings to communicate status of parts
• Have a safety mindset and constantly strive to provide the safest work environment.
Essential Selection Criteria:
• Warehouse or Purchasing experience preferred
• Hold or able to obtain a Forklift license
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
• Current or ability to obtain an Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to self-check
• Ability to problem solve and work harmoniously within a team environment
