The Procurement Business Partner position offers diversity through management and prioritization of procurement activities and overseeing of effective alignment of business and procurement strategies.

The Procurement Business Partner is the link between the business and the procurement organisation to facilitate the delivery of value. In addition, as an advocate for the business you will help to manage commercial risk and drive excellence in the supply base.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible to:

  • Be the procurement representative and first point of contact for the business
  • Understand business needs / insights / local constraints & regulation; transmit this information to category management teams.
  • Lead implementation of sourcing strategies at business level; ensure business buy-in; communicate value deliveries by procurement to the business.
  • Identify, understand and proactively manage risk to the business.
  • Participate in key meetings / senior interactions with suppliers where needed as part of the Supplier Relationship Management program.
  • Ensure early involvement of procurement in new product development and innovation.
  • Provide procurement insights to help budgeting.

Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and Strategic Buying experience
  • You will possess strong FCMG experience and knowledge.
  • You have Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economic, Business or equivalent.
  • You will have experience working within business units of Nestle
  • The ideal candidate would have demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage through development and implementation of procurement strategies.
  • You have excellent collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills, and experience with managing stakeholders and suppliers
