Our client are a government-owned organisation responsible for important work nationwide to support public safety, who are going through a significant phase of transformation.
Your new role
As part of the procurement governance and enablement team you will lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of all policies, procedures, tools, and frameworks supporting the Procure to Pay and Source to Contract processes.
Working closely with the procurement community you will ensure tools, frameworks and process are fit for purpose and enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the e-procurement platform, iBuy, is supported by effective training and documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you'll have demonstrated experience operating ion a defined procurement function in a role focused on procurement enablement, governance or compliance.
You'll demonstrate the following key capabilities:
Tertiary qualification in a discipline that demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and regulatory compliance skillset.
Have a proven track record delivering in procurement, contract management, legal, supply chain, commercial, corporate reporting, finance, accounting, or governance role in a regulated and/or complex organisation
Have strong knowledge of procurement and contract management frameworks, including a detailed understanding of procurement sourcing and selection strategies and common contract types.
Have proven experience identifying opportunities to improve procurement and contract management activities and managing supplier risks and compliance issues as well as managing supplier performance reporting.
Experience in the use of e-procurement systems
