A motor parts manufacturing company is looking for a last year graduate student to gain local experience with their procurement team.
The select candidate will have an opportunity to learn under an experienced manager in the following areas: -- Investigate the stock and supply challenges within existing processes.
- Undertake an in-depth feasibility analysis, taking into account variables such as initial capital investment, ongoing maintenance expenses, spatial constraints, and foreseeable obstacles.
- Evaluate and select the optimal solution from the provided options or a blend thereof.
- Compute potential cost savings, reductions in labour expenditure, and enhancements in efficiency based on both the volume and value of goods.
- Propose tailored solutions aligned with our unique requirements.
- Determine the return on investment (ROI).
- Execute the chosen solution.
- Verify the achieved savings and document the outcomes.
Relevant qualification: Student with Supply Chain and Logistics and Mechanical Engineering (Management) background can upscale their knowledge working in these areas.
Availability: Part time 3 days a week to start ASAP.
Dedication: To learn and perform.
The role will be for 3 months, unpaid to gain valued work experience under our Professional Internship Program.
