Job description
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services for our client. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that we obtain the best value for our purchases while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and needs.
Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services by monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure that supplies are ordered and replenished in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
Keep up-to-date with market trends and changes in pricing, regulations, and supplier capabilities.
Participate in cross-functional teams and projects as needed.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in procurement and contract management
Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
Experience with contract drafting, review, and negotiation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
Interest and availability to work and commit to a 3 month contract
