Major Next Generation Military Technology Deployment
High Profile Engagement / NV1+ Clearance Required
This high-profile Commonwealth agency is building the Australian military’s next iteration of in-field deployed communications capability via the creation and of cutting-edge, integrated mobile systems. They subsequently require the services of a confident, experienced Procurement Specialist who possesses broad project background supporting information and communications program initiatives for Federal Government and/or Defence environments.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for developing a range of documentation including drafting a Statement of Requirement (SoR), a Technical Statement of Work (SoW) and Evaluation Plan as part of the agency’s overall program requirements. You will have a confident approach to stakeholder liaison, consultancy and collaboration, and possess the ability to translate complex concepts to all manner of internal and third-party contacts. You will ideally understand IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and have worked within a Agile team environment.
Given the sensitive nature of the information and domain environment, the ICT Procurement Specialist will be required to hold an active Australian security clearance (NV1 minimum).
This engagement represents a unique opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a complex military technology initiative within the flagship procurement team.
