A great opportunity has become available to join an amazing organisation as a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist in the food industry. This is a full-time, permanent role which has a focus on demand and production planning, supply chain analysis, and cross functional effective communication. This iconic organisation is growing and expanding rapidly and has operations on a global scale. If you are looking for a role you can grow with and have significant input into systems and processes, you are a self-starter and are agile, then this is the role for you. Experience in food manufacturing is beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Negotiate and conduct daily business with suppliers and freight forwarders
Ensure timely delivery of inventory and stock
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing with vendors and suppliers
Supplier partnerships
Develop and implement demand plan
Manage reporting for the entire Supply Chain Department
Maintain internal databases
Stakeholder engagement
Review existing processes and provide input towards continuous improvement
Skills and experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Inventory Management or similar
4+ years’ experience in purchasing and supply chain within an food/ FMCG environment
Proficiency with MS Dynamics (WIISE) or ERP systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
