Well this role might just be for you, we have a client in the Sports Apparel industry looking for their next superstar Product Coordinator to help be a part of their production process from start to finish. They’ve been in the industry for almost 100 years, have an extremely large reputation and a long history of success in Australia while also maintaining their signature family values and culture. Reporting to the General Manager of Licensing, the Product Coordinator - Licensing, will work within the licensing team and will be responsible for planning, managing and monitoring the design and production processes of licensed products.
About the role:
- Liaison with suppliers on costs and production lead times
- Production management and offshore supplier communications
- Design QC and management of samples with suppliers
- Factory Visits for product development and QC management
- Regular and timely communication with internal stakeholders on the production coordination activities
- Manage the approval process with licensors
- Monitor sales trends and performance by providing stock analysis and reporting
- Hybrid role with 2 days working from home and 3 days on site in Moorabbin
- Leading the conceptual development of licensed products with the ability to manage projects from conception through to finalisation.
- 3+ years experience in end to end product development
- Exhibit the ability to work collaboratively in a creative team environment.
- Experience in graphic design or experience with managing the design process working in apparel and/or licensing industry, with a strong understanding of the approval processes, restrictions, and licensing requirements, highly regarded but not essential
- Team coordination experience, highly regarded but not essential
- Proven ability in working with various cultures
- Exceptional proven communication skills. Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills and management of stakeholder expectations
- Exceptional organising skills. Methodical approach to managing time and priorities. Also willing to be flexible in adapting to varying priorities
- Capable of working well under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills
