The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for talented and experienced designers to be part of the team creating Australia's most popular and high-profile digital products. We are looking for people who are passionate about digital experiences and have the attitude and skill to work in our award-winning design team.
This role reports to the Principal Designer and comes with excellent career growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Enterprise scale design sprints and design delivery engagements backed by a strong understanding of end-to-end design process
- Multidisciplinary skill set with strong foundational UX skill set across user research, usability, rapid prototyping, and iterative design development
- Strong understanding of applied design thinking and human-centred design philosophies for enterprise ecosystems
- Familiarity with designing for business viability and technical feasibility (DVF model)
- Ability to assess the design maturity of businesses and input this for design operating model frameworks
- Contribute to and/or lead design presale activities including concept design and proposals
- Own the design engagement delivery across the conceptualisation to delivery phases
- Adopt an advisory and consulting approach to solve client and project challenges
- Passion for outcome-based mindset - driving a holistic product outcome for business and users alike
- Strong appreciation of platform conventions and best practices including inclusive design
- Passion for knowledge sharing in internal design guild forum and external design communities
We want you onboard if you have
- Successfully shipped digital experiences (mobile, web, wearables, voice)
- Multi-disciplinary skill set encompassing more than one area of specialisation across user research, usability, strategic UX, visual design, motion design, and/or service design
- Exceptional design communication skills, including the ability to effectively provide the rationale behind design solution options
- Experience creating UI’s and using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Invision and Adobe Creative Suite
- Validated a range of design options with users using apt techniques
- Led design engagements in a multi-vendor and/or multi-stakeholder set up
- Have an outcome-based mindset - driving a holistic product outcome for the business and users alike
- Strong appreciation for the underlying technology and its associated limitations
It will be a plus if you have
- A design, HCI, computer science or psychology related degree
- Industry recognition for your work

- Experience designing in CMS, DXP, and design system environments
