An exciting opportunity has emerged for a high-level Product Lead within an award-winning, Australian furniture brand. B Corp certified, this brand is committed to sustainable design. Working closely with the design and product teams, you will be a problem solver with excellent leadership skills. Having strong connections throughout the A&D industry, the right candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a conduit between design and development teams from a feasibility standpoint
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the Product Development process including reporting to senior stakeholders
- Manage and lead the development team, working closely with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met within timeline, design and budget constraints
- Develop and implement improved processes, consulting with relevant stakeholders and utilising customer feedback to uphold the brands high quality standards
- In consultation with the design and development teams, source components, materials and finishes for product
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience as a product developer, sourcing, manufacturing and production within furniture, liaising with overseas suppliers
- Knowledge of 3D softwares Fusion 360 and Blender
- Demonstrable experience managing a team at a high level
- Excellent understanding of furniture construction and manufacturing
- Organised and an excellent problem solver with high level communication skills
