Address The Opportunity
The payments industry is booming and so is Worldline! To support our global growth, our team in Australia is searching for a motivated Product Owner to work with a highly-engaged engineering Squad to deliver our eCommerce Product Roadmap (on a platform that already supports 60,000+ merchants!). You could be building user interfaces, delivering new payment methods, publishing merchant APIs or any other payment feature. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Product and Project Managers to plan the Product Roadmap into a continuous stream of initiatives for your Squad
Drive upcoming roadmap initiatives forward through technical validation and design phases
Support the communications, planning and go-to-market needs of delivery stakeholders (Project Managers, Product Managers etc.)
Achieve a continuous and healthy level of forward-grooming of all Squad priorities and managing a healthy backlog of user stories
Lead the contextual learning of the Squad on upcoming initiatives and promote your Squad’s delivery broadly
Grow your Squad’s effectiveness by implementing your continuous learnings
Both lead and support day-to-day Agile ceremonies with the Squad to push delivery forward throughout each initiative’s lifecycle
What We Are Looking For
A clear and open communicator with the interpersonal skills to develop collaborative and effective stakeholder relationships
Strong perceptiveness backed by solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactiveness, a self-starter attitude and the confidence to lead
Great organisation and prioritisation skills
Risk-awareness and the ability to anticipate issues and impediments
Demonstrated experience working with technical products (APIs, microservices, UX/UI etc.) from any product, technical or implementation aspect
Experience within the payments ecosystem or adjacents (merchants, gateways, acceptance, acquiring, schemes, wallets, eCommerce, POS, carts etc.) – not essential, but highly regarded!
