Form of work An integral government body is looking for an Agile Product Owner to join the team for 6 months on a contract basis, based in Brisbane CBD with WFH flexibility.
As an Agile Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritising the product backlog, ensuring that the product meets the needs of the department and its stakeholders, and guiding the development team towards delivering high-quality products in a timely manner.
Responsibilities of the Agile Product Owner:
Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the product backlog is properly refined and that the team is aligned on the product goals.
Work with internal stakeholders to prioritise requirements and communicate progress.
Work with the development team to provide guidance and feedback.
Communicate product release plans, including coordinating release schedules and ensuring that all necessary documentation and training materials are available.
Gather and Analyse feedback and incorporate it into the product backlog and development process.
Required skills for the Agile Product Owner:
2 years of experience as an Agile Product Owner with strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Experience in delivering systems change and writing software development user stories.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating software development test plans.
Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Experience with Jira, Trello, and Confluence.
