The Opportunity

We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic product and project manager to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for assisting to deliver the Seasonal & Gifting strategy for the Australian Confectionery business unit. You will lead project management & drive ambitious timelines, lead existing product sourcing from global markets, and grow our Easter, Christmas & everyday gifting sales with new & existing customers.

A day in the life of...

You will be joining a passionate and dynamic team, and your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Innovation Manager & Commercial team to develop seasonal & speciality plans for confectionery.
  • Leading project management for seasonal & speciality products for the Confectionery business unit, working with multiple stakeholders both locally & abroad
  • Ensuring stage gate compliance, timeline management, project governance & on time delivery.
  • Inputting to P&L for each product and working with closely with the Finance, Commercial & Marketing teams.
  • Lead standard product sourcing from multiple markets, ensuring compliance, labelling & repacking in line with Australian and customer standards & requirements
What will make you successful
  • A tertiary qualification in project management, product management, supply chain management or other relevant discipline.
  • Ideally 2 to 3 years working with complex global supply chains and 1 to 2 years working with multi market teams
  • Strong project management experience; ability to multi-task well with multiple projects and deadlines required.
  • Strong executional capability.
  • Ability to work with cross commercial team to develop & validate product concepts and bring to market
  • Very strong analytical, numerical and planning skills.
  • Ability to present information and communicate effectively with a variety of teams and individuals from different cultures and nationalities.
  • Ability to manage and work closely with category, sales and marketing teams.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation/company.
