Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they are released to the market. The Software Tester will work closely with the product development team to identify and report any defects or issues, and will be responsible for managing test plans and test cases.Responsibilities:Execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software products
Identify and report defects or issues to the development team
Collaborate with the product development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Assembly of parts (PCBs, battery, screws, 3D print models) when required to build prototypes of the medical device.
Setup and maintenance of testing environments such as laptops/computers, with the necessary software environment.
Prepare prototypes for trials, including running tests on each leg plate together with the software, upload test results, create test reports.
Provide Front-end software support for the development team.
Program the leg plates with the latest firmware when requested.
Write and improve working instructions for product assembly, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.
Document technical issues and solutions.
Analyse results, detect issues, report bugs, and identify the root cause of malfunctions.
Suggest fixes and improvements for product development.
Create and develop test environments and test cases for all software/firmware systems.
Run quality controls on components and final products.
Build automated testing systems for regular checks, including firmware or software development
Quality and complianceUnderstanding of ISO documents and tests required to achieve medical device compliance.
Ensure products and procedures meet industry and medical standards (e.g. ISO 13485).
Manage the Electronics Engineering Lab equipment and materials.
Demonstrate good work ethics, follow instructions, and be capable of self-managing work and
Thinking independently
Conduct research, perform diagnostics, and troubleshoot equipment problems.
Ensure a safe, positive work environment.
Maintaining a well-structured and organized lab, office, and inventory.
Participate in the test automation scripts
Conduct manual and automated testing of software products
Document test results and provide feedback to the development team
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field
